At Locawo, we extract the sugars that wheat flour naturally contains and replace them with erythritol, a zero-calorie sugar substitute.

For more than 20 years, Thomas’ passion was baking. During his career, he operated a mid-size bakery with over 150 employees. His top priorities were his customers and creating crispy and delicious new products for them.
Of course he also loved to sample his own wares. He ended up tipping the scales at over 180 kg and wishing he could lose weight.
But giving up pizza, pasta, and bread was inconceivable for a baker.
What about low-carb** products made from things like pea flour? They just didn’t taste like the real thing.
His idea: Alter natural wheat flour so that it contained less carbohydrates. After many years of research and baking, he found the answer! Thanks to his Locawo flour, Thomas lost 46 kg without giving up any flavor.
Today, he’s proud that more than 5,000 customers have been able to transform their dietary habits.
